This fridge was rated as the most efficient in our Refrigerators Test due to a variety of reasons. It has a sleek, fingerprint-resistant stainless-steel finish and features thick handles that make them comfortable to grip. The fridge is built with the standard French door design, with two rows of shelving with spill-capture and a set crisper drawers. The top shelf to the right can be folded to provide more space for taller items. You'll also find a full-width drawer for deli items and an internal water dispenser.

One of the best aspects of this refrigerator is that its ice maker is in the freezer, which makes it simple to move the ice to the refrigerator to use as required. The freezer also comes with thoughtful design features, such as sliding drawers that help you organize your belongings. It also has a large container for storing frozen food, and a separate bin for ice.

Its capacity is superior for a counter-depth model, and it cools evenly and has a good layout. It's also a little cheaper than the top counter-depth refrigerators that have an ice maker, which helps make it an attractive option.

The temperatures in the top, bottom and middle of the refrigerator did not differ significantly from 38 degrees. This is a great performance, but does not quite make it to the top of our ratings.

This fridge has a few other neat features, including a temperature-monitoring display that alerts you to fluctuations and provides a forecast for the day ahead. You can also pair this fridge with a smart thermometer to get more precise measurements of your fridge's temperature.

The Frigidaire FGHB2866PF's outside is made of grey-bodied stainless steel with a "smudge-proof" finish. It is capable of removing streaks and fingerprints even when compared with glossy stainless steel finishes on other appliances I've tested.
