Replacement UPVC Door Handles

Whether you're replacing your handles or need to add more security, you can find the right handle for your door. Upvc handles are simple to fit and comply with the required 92mm centres of multipoint locks.

The backplate's fixing centre as well as the lever/keyhole dimensions are the most important measurements. Make sure you compare these to your current measurements prior to ordering.

Lever/Pad

Lever/Lever

The lever door handles are used to operate a multi-point lock using the Euro cylinder. They are found on a variety of double upvc doors as well as some wooden and aluminium doors. Lever door handles that droop can be caused by many factors. The most common reason is that the fixings aren't tight, causing the lever bearing to pull against the door. It could also be that the levers have not been operated at a right angle, which compresses the latch mechanism and prevents it from fully springing into motion.

Another common cause is that the lever that is sprung is not functioning properly and this is usually due to the sprung not being in the correct position within the backplate. To determine whether the handle has returned to horizontal, simply operate it.

It is essential to repair any door handles that are damaged immediately. This could lead to excessive wear on the screws and the handle could fall off the base plate. It is recommended to tighten all loose screws regularly in order to prevent them from becoming loose.

Lever/Snib

These upvc door handles are also known as handle sets with a 'Snib' and feature a snib button on the top of the lever that you can press down to lock your door in the event that you don't use an Dummy lock.
